Day #324 Cream of Matsutake Soup, Pignoli Dumplings, Pears, and Tarragon pg. 26 entertaining in the raw
June 12, 2010
The Final Product!
I would say the hardest part is the coconut wraps but they are not hard to make at all.
I made the soup and the filling today. I made the filling before so I had to remake this, but the soup was tasty, and I gave my dog one of the coconut dumplings.
Soup Ingredients
mushrooms
salt
olive oil
pine nuts
water
white miso
tarragon
soy lecithin
black pepper
I tossed mushrooms with salt and enough olive oil to coat them. Pine nuts, water, salt, miso, tarragon, and soy lecithin were blended until smooth. Mushrooms were dehydrated, then they were blended with the soup and some were left for garnish.
I used parsley to keep the dumpling together, I didn’t know how to do the pear matchsticks. I still think it looks attractive.
This is very pretty, and tasty but I personally like the sesame dumplings sooooo much more.
Off to bed…
