The third Potluck. We are still trying to decide on the name of it. If anyone has any ideas please comment. We are so excited to be a part of this community and hope to change lives one at a time with the food that we should be nourishing our temples with. Pesticide, Herbacide, Insecticide, Suicide FREE. Organic, Raw, Loving and Living food is our focus.
I am so grateful to my mom for opening up her house to all of us. It’s great to be in my childhood home enjoying friends and food. Here Kay and Mom were decorating the glass jars the Kay brought. Kay decorated them with fresh organic spearmint, parsley, and lemon-thyme right from her garden. Kay is always the decorator. She puts so much of her positive energy into these gatherings. She loads her car every month with all the decorations, table clothes, vases, silverware, and not to mention her marvelous food that she prepares. Kay came to our first Raw food class at the store and has been a student every single month. She keeps coming back with an open heart and open mind. Kay has become a very special friend to me and I’m looking forward to many more gatherings with her.
D’ made a cabbage, zucchini salad with Carrot Ginger Dressing. Every meal she does is with pure elegance. Just like a ballet. The food is the dancer and the plate is the stage. She only came into my life 2 months ago but I feel like I’ve known her for a lifetime. She teaches me so much and always with an open loving heart. D’ you really are RAWesome woman.
Pam was the guest speaker. She had melanoma cancer and cured it and lost over 100 pounds eating whole foods and cutting out SUGAR!! I met Pam at one of our first Raw Food Classes and we became very close friends in a short time. She worked at Rutabagas and has had a strong impact on my life. She is energetic and such an awesome caring spirit. I love you Pammy!!:) Karen also attended one of the classes at the store. We have prepared food before and she is very creative. I’m looking forward to many more prep days with you Karen:)
