Sunny Pate

Based on Nomi Shannon’s recipe from the Raw Gourmet

3 cups sunflower seeds soaked for 8 – 12 hours
¾ cup lemon juice
1/3 cup tahini
¼ cup braggs liquid aminos
½ cup onion
2 cloves garlic
2 T dry parsley
1 t cumin
½ t cayenne pepper

Process all ingredients until smooth.

  1. Veggie Girl: I made your sunny pate and of course I did not measure and I added some fresh oregano, basil & parsley, lots of garlic and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good, thanks for sharing the recipe!

  2. Great! I’m glad you love it. You gotta love that garlic. I love it. I say 3 cloves a day keeps the viruses away:)
