Tomato Chutney
4 cups ripe tomatoes
1 apple
1 cup onion
1 pear
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
¼ cup raisins (cranberries)
1 tsp. pickling spices
salt to taste (optional)
Peel tomatoes, remove seeds. Place in food processor with “S” blade, chop to chunk consistency, set aside. Quarter onion, mince in food processor with “S” blade, set aside. Peel and core apple and pear, place in food processor with “S” blade, chop to a chunky consistency. Combine with remaining ingredients and allow to sit for several hours before serving.
